I always wanted to be crafty but never thought I had the knack for it. I come from a long line of family members who were and are amazing makers, but I struggled finding the right craft for me. I decided to focus on my family, which includes my husband and our son, as well as my education. I ultimately received degrees and certificates in Marketing, TV Journalism, Graphic Design and Social Media. Yes, I was a go-getter, but I still had a deep desire to create! In 2016, I decided to try my hand at embroidering. Once I started stitching, I instantly took to it! I finally found my knack and it brings me so much joy! I decided to start my embroidery business, Stitch Slapped Social, in 2018 to share my love of crafting with others! 
I love stitching anything trendy, relatable and funny. My designs include bold fabrics, bright threads and a whole lotta love! I hope that by creating Stitch Slapped Social I can bring together a community of crafters at heart and help them find their knack! I love to teach and share my passion with others! Plus stitching is a great stress reliever! Would you rather stab fabric or a person? Seriously, it's not worth the jail time, just Stitch Slap them!
